DITCHLING FAIR 2016
From 2015 to 2016 Olivia lead the Ditchling Village Fair Committee as Chair. This voluntary role involves liaising with volunteers, businesses, local councils and schools to create an all day event for the community to enjoy and to raise money for the Ditchling Village Association.
The Fair (a biennial event) has a history that dates back over 700 years to 1312 A.D. when King Edward II granted permission for the first Fair to be held in Ditchling.
Olivia and the committee chose the theme “Kith, Kin & Community” for the 2016 Fair, to celebrate the village, the people who live there and the strong community spirit they all have.
